CoWorthy

May - June (Beta Group!)

A loving invitation to join a cosy group of women coming together for connection, conversation and creating your most meaningful work in the world. It’s co-working and community rolled into one.

“The cure for burnout isn’t more self-care. It has to be all of us caring for each other.”

- Emily and Amelia Nagoski

How it works

I’m facilitating a cosy group of visionaries, creatives, entrepreneurs, small business owners to come together on a consistent basis for co-working, sharing resources, discussion and connection!

  • We’ll meet up in-person in May and June (May 4 and 11, June 1, 15 and 29)

  • We’ll open up in connection and setting intention on the one-thing we want completed by the end of the session (usually it’s something we’re procrastinating over, feel drained about or just need to get the ball rolling on)

  • We’ll set the timer and work together (did you know that body-doubling, where you sit next to someone who is working has a ripple effect on getting-things-done?)

  • At the end, we’ll celebrate!

*There are only 6 spaces available to keep things cosy! So be sure to book your spot as soon as you know you can make the dates!

“It was human to human and I love that you always brought that into everything, into every meet-up and every phone conversation. I think what you taught was the courage for other people to do the same.”

Meet Emily - your CoWorthy Facilitator

Hi, I’m Emily - a visionary servant leader, most known for my work in founding an award-winning, globally recognised community organisation in South East Asia in my early twenties.

I’m currently growing roots north of San Francisco, where I cheerlead (through coaching and consulting) global change-makers, creatives and visionary leaders making meaningful change in the world. I also open my home to senior, special needs and hospice dogs so that they are in a loving home environment before they decide it’s time to cross the rainbow bridge.

Facebook named me as “One of the 115 most inspiring community leaders in the world”

Generation T recognised me for harnessing the power of the community to help people in need and listed me as“One of the leaders of tomorrow who are shaping Asia’s future”

And, Singapore’s President, honoured me with the President’s Volunteer and Philanthropy Awards for championing the community spirit. You can read more here.

Along the way of my own leadership journey, I suffered many bouts of burnout and isolation. Through the gift of self-compassion and in community care, I have begun to reimagine what our world would look like if those of us in this space embraced ‘being the change’ we want to see in the world - starting with ourselves. In the wake of the pandemic, many people made the decision to start a business or to take the first leap of faith towards their dreams. What would it feel like to be able to do that in good, supportive and nourishing community? As you navigate the ups and downs of creating your most meaningful work, how you would it feel to honour who you are as a human being and celebrate who you are becoming along the way?

It is my hope that through this time we share together, you would find the space to be yourself (reconnect), focus on the things that matter and that energise your soul (re-align) and make some new friends along the way (relate).

“ I appreciate that this time was a small group of us being able to reflect together and taking the time to ground ourselves.”

SOME QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE

👉AWESOME! BUT CAN’T I DO THIS BY MYSELF?

Yes, you can! However, you need to intentionally carve out the time and space to do something off-screen and completely analog. Without loving accountability and encouragement, sometimes we may not be as motivated to step away from our screens and the call of emails, pings and notifications to pour into ourselves. The beauty of connecting with other souls who want to have this shared experience.
